WordPress development

We started working with a local business after answering their ad in CraigsList at the beginning of 2020. Union Music is a local music store that had a WordPress-powered website using a Reverb.com plugin to sell some of their inventory (instruments, amplifiers, effects pedals, etc.) online.  However, their previous webmaster had not updated some of the existing API calls or fully fleshed out all the pages needed to display their various product lines.

Come the end of March, Covid-19 reared its ugly head and, like everyone else, they had to shut down. Luckily, after a few months, they were able to resume some of their services and we created a Curbside Contact Form that would filter requests to the appropriate store personnel (lesson requests would go to teachers, repairs to the techs, etc.).

We also redid some of their front page graphics for them (new store hours and updated their image carousel) and began a new process to catalog and display more of their in-store merchandise through their website (instead of relying on their Reverb.com plugin).

Lastly, we assisted in their migration to an entirely new cloud-based POS (Point of Sale) system called Rain Retail, which included a new website with additional e-commerce and inventory management features.
